You're driving along, driving along, singing "Old MacDonald" for the TEN THOUSANDTH time, headed to the Hobb Lobb to buy more felt (SHUT UP), when you spot THIS:
I wonder why the ears are down like that. Did she want to remember her cat how he was when pissed and hissing? Or is the taxidermy job old and the ears are just fading? SO MANY QUESTIONS.
My only wish is that I had followed her to her destination, waited for her to leave the car, and gotten super-close to get a better picture.
I need to re-examine my priorities.
But so does she.
For your piece of mind (mom) -- I was stopped at a stop light while taking the picture, and she turned right on red and snuck away.
Oh gosh. That is just disturbing. I often joke about having my cats stuffed when they die, but now I can't even joke about it now that I've seen it done. Disturbing.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to tell you Shannon. It seems like you're not as dedicated to your pets as you claim to be.

ReplyDeleteI know, the neck is long and weird, too, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Gosh. That is so bizarre.
ReplyDeleteI know, right? My husband would say, "It takes all kinds ... "
ReplyDeleteYou'd think that this post would give me ideas for the future. But you'd be wrong, because my cats are never going to die.
ReplyDeleteWell, I like your chicks and want to kiss on it.
